The 2020 iHeartCountry Festival Presented by Capital One has officially been postponed to a later date amid growing Coronavirus fears.

This year's festivities were originally scheduled to take place on May 2nd at the Franks Erwin Center in Austin, Texas and feature a star-studded lineup of country artists including Blake Shelton, Dierks Bentley, Sam Hunt, Lady Antebellum, Dustin Lynch, Kelsea Ballerini, Kane Brown, Jon Pardi and Chase Rice, plus Hot Country Knights, Bobby Bones and more.

In a statement, iHeartMedia says of the postponed country mega concert:

"The Frank Erwin Center announced today it is postponing all events for the immediate future. See announcement here.

The May 2 iHeartCountry Festival Presented by Capital One at the Frank Erwin Center will be rescheduled at a later date. Our primary goal is always the safety of our guests, employees, artists and partners and we will continue to actively monitor the situation and will provide more information and relevant updates as they become available. Tickets will be honored at the rescheduled date."

University of Texas Vice President and Athletics Director Chris Del Conte said in a statement regarding events at the school's Frank Erwin Center, "For the health, safety and well-being of all of its patrons, performers and staff, we have decided to postpone upcoming events at the Erwin Center for the near future. After discussion with University officials and leadership at the Erwin Center we believe it's in the best interest of everyone involved to proceed with an abundance of caution with events at that facility."
