Burrows' family confirmed his passing on Friday (June 19), stating he died peacefully surrounded by his loving family.

Burrows' career spanned over five decades, during which he directed more than 1,000 episodes of television. He was a key figure behind iconic shows such as 'Frasier', 'Friends', 'Will & Grace', 'The Big Bang Theory', 'Taxi', 'The Mary Tyler Moore Show', and 'The Bob Newhart Show'.
