911 service outages have been reported across several states, including Arizona, Texas, Iowa, and Washington, causing disruptions in emergency call services. The cause of these outages remains unclear, and it is not yet confirmed if they are connected. Local officials have advised residents to use alternate phone numbers for emergency services if they cannot reach 911.

In Arizona, the Pima County Sheriff’s Office reported a statewide 911 network outage, directing residents to call a non-emergency line for assistance. Similarly, Whatcom County, Washington, is experiencing similar issues, urging residents to contact the dispatch center directly through an alternative number.

In Texas, Allen Police reported their 911 system outage, advising residents to use a non-emergency dispatch line. In Iowa, Des Moines police have also reported failures in wireless 911 calls, providing an alternative number for emergency services.

According to BNO News, officials in multiple jurisdictions are working to resolve the issue, but no further details on the cause or restoration timeline have been provided. The outages have prompted Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs to assure the public that her administration is actively engaged with local and county agencies to address the problem.

As reported by Whatcom News, the service in Whatcom County was restored by 5:55 p.m. on Monday (June 15). However, the initial cause of the disruption remains unknown.
