The UFC's Freedom 250 event is set to take place today (Sunday, June 14) on the South Lawn of the White House. This unique event commemorates both the United States' 250th anniversary and President Donald Trump's 80th birthday. The event will feature seven fights, including two highly anticipated championship battles in the lightweight and heavyweight divisions.

In the main event, lightweight champion Ilia Topuria will face interim champion Justin Gaethje for the undisputed championship. The co-main event will see Alex Pereira attempt to make history by becoming the first three-division champion in UFC history as he takes on Ciryl Gane for the interim heavyweight championship.

Attendance on the South Lawn is limited to 4,300 invitees, but up to 85,000 spectators can watch the event on large screens set up in nearby Ellipse Park. The event will also be available for viewing on pay-per-view, allowing fans worldwide to tune in to the action.

UFC's official website and ESPN provide additional details about the event. Fans can make predictions and follow the fight card on Tapology, a platform that allows users to engage with MMA and boxing events.

This event marks a significant moment in sports history, blending the worlds of politics and mixed martial arts in a celebration of national pride and athletic excellence.
