President Donald Trump is refuting claims that negotiations between the U.S. and Iran have collapsed. On Monday (June 1), Trump posted on Truth Social, calling the reports "false and erroneous." He assured that discussions are ongoing, despite Iranian state media's assertion that Tehran halted communications due to accusations of a ceasefire breach by Israel in Lebanon.

According to a report by CNN, Iranian officials accused the U.S. of violating a ceasefire agreement due to Israeli military actions against Hezbollah in Lebanon. However, Trump maintains that talks are progressing rapidly. He also mentioned a "productive" call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, claiming that Israeli forces would not advance on Beirut.

Despite these assurances, the situation remains tense. The Hill reported that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that any violation of the ceasefire in Lebanon would be considered a breach across all fronts. Meanwhile, Secretary of State Marco Rubio outlined the U.S. demands for Iran to commit to specific nuclear negotiations.

As negotiations continue, the outcome remains uncertain. Trump emphasized the need for Iran to make a deal, stating, "It's time, one way or another, for you to make a Deal."
