The NFL has announced that the Green Bay Packers will face the Los Angeles Rams in the league's inaugural Thanksgiving Eve game on Wednesday, November 25. The game will kick off at 8 p.m. ET and will be streamed exclusively on Netflix. This addition marks the first time the NFL will host a game on the eve of Thanksgiving, expanding the traditional holiday football lineup.

The game will take place at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, marking the sixth meeting between the Rams and Packers since 2021. The last time these two teams met was on October 6, 2024, also at SoFi Stadium. The Thanksgiving Eve game is part of the NFL's effort to explore new broadcast windows and engage fans during the holiday week.

In addition to the Thanksgiving Eve game, Netflix will also air the NFL Honors show during Super Bowl week, where individual awards and Pro Football Hall of Fame inductees are announced. Furthermore, Netflix will broadcast the Week 1 game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Rams, which will be played in Melbourne, Australia.

The complete 2026 regular-season schedule will be released on May 14 at 8 p.m. ET, with a two-hour primetime special airing on ESPN. The Thanksgiving Eve game adds to the existing lineup of three games on Thanksgiving Day and a Black Friday game, first introduced in 2023. One of the Thanksgiving Day games will feature the Dallas Cowboys hosting the Philadelphia Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Fox.
