What To Know About The National Memorial Day Concert

Andy Grammer, Alan Jackson, Blessing Offor and other artists will deliver special performances during the National Memorial Day Concert later this month.

Joe Mantegna and Gary Sinise will host the 37th annual broadcast, which honors military members and their families. It’s set to air live from the West Lawn at the U.S. Capitol. Noah Wyle, Melissa Leo, Andy Grammer, Jonathan Banks, Mickey Guyton, Jamey Johnson, Alan Jackson, Mary McCormack, Laura Osnes and Blessing Offor will perform during the special, plus the National Symphony Orchestra conducted by Maestro Jack Everly.

“We honor and remember all our American heroes, from the all-volunteer force that won our independence in the American Revolution to the over one-million men and women who have given their lives since our nation’s founding 250 years ago,” Mantegna said in a statement in a press release issued Monday (May 4). Sinise added in a statement of his own, “Joe and I are deeply honored to co-host this 37-year tradition at the U.S. Capitol and salute those who have worn the uniform - past and present - and their families who have stood beside them.”

The National Memorial Day Concert will air live on Sunday, May 24, 2026, from 8 to 9:30 p.m. ET on PBS. Service members around the world will be able to see the event on American Forces Network, per the release. Viewers can also watch the concert on YouTube and on PBS. it will be available on demand from May 24 to June 7.
