Former President Bill Clinton interrupted Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones' pre-2026 NFL Draft press conference on Wednesday (April 22).

Jones appeared to be distracted during a Dallas Morning News reporter's question as he looked off to the side before saying, "President Clinton is coming through the door right here, he's coming up here to say hello to us."

"Uh," the reporter responded before Jones urged him to continue with his question as the camera then panned to the former president.

The reporter continued to ask the question, but didn't get an immediate answer from Jones, who gushed over Clinton as he walked into the room.

"He's been a wonderful, not only President, but friend over the years, and I'm really happy to have you here today," Jones said.

The Cowboys haven't won a Super Bowl since the Clinton administration when Jones, a former member of the Arkansas Razorbacks' national championship team, claimed that the then-president and Arkansas native, had the entire roster memorized and recited it to the Cowboys owner.

"It's a different world," Clinton joked of Jones, who played guard at 185 pounds, potentially playing in the modern era, claiming he'd be the "late Jerry Jones" if that was the case.

The former president also said that he's "interested in negotiating a draft," which is set to begin on Thursday (April 23).
