A heart-stopping incident unfolded in a Texas home when a bunk bed collapsed, nearly impaling a young boy. The dramatic moment was captured on a Ring camera and shared by the children's mother, Aurora Price, on TikTok, where it quickly went viral. The video shows the top bunk, supported by metal rods, giving way and sending a young girl on the top bunk flying as it collapsed onto her little brother.

In a split-second reaction, the girl jumped into action, asking her brother if he was okay and frantically working to pull the top bunk mattress off him. Her quick thinking and bravery were praised by viewers, who flooded the video with over 82 million views and five million likes. A third child, sleeping in a toddler's bed nearby, was also awoken by the crash.

Price later posted a follow-up video assuring everyone that her children were unharmed and took responsibility for building the bed herself. She explained that the bed, purchased from Amazon, might have had structural issues. According to an email from "VINGLI Support," the company that made the bunk bed, the collapse was due to some slats being shorter than standard, leading to insufficient support. They offered Price a replacement or a full refund.

In the aftermath, Price emphasized that her mother was the first to react after the incident, handling the situation calmly. She expressed gratitude that her children were safe, stating, "At the end of the day, my kids are OK, and that is all I could really ask for."
