Three people were detained after a Pima County Sheriff's Department SWAT team swarmed a house near the home of Nancy Guthrie, the missing 84-year-old mother of TODAY Show anchor Savannah Guthrie, a law enforcement source confirmed to FOX News.

Two men and one of their moms were detained after authorities received a tip and a warrant was served, the source said, cautioning that as it was executed “technically everyone is detained.”

The detainments were reported after law enforcement swarmed a house located about two miles from Nancy Guthrie's home late Friday night, with the Pima County Sheriff's Department confirming that a search was underway at a residence.

“Law enforcement activity is underway at a residence near E Orange Grove Rd & N First Ave related to the Guthrie case,” the department wrote on its X account. “Because this is a joint investigation, at the request of the FBI — no additional information is currently available.”

A source later told FOX News that a man was detained during a traffic stop late Friday night, but didn't specify if he was among the initial three detainments reported, however, was being questioned in connection with the warrant served nearby.

Authorities haven't confirmed who was involved nor whether anyone was a suspect in the ongoing operation as Guthrie's disappearance enters its third week.
