In the aftermath of Charlie Kirk's assassination, Ben Shapiro has announced he will no longer participate in outdoor events. Kirk, a prominent right-wing commentator, was fatally shot on September 10 while speaking at Utah Valley University. Shapiro cited the many "vantage points" at outdoor venues as a security risk, saying, "It's not possible because there are too many overlooks."

Despite this, Shapiro plans to continue his public speaking engagements, particularly at college campuses across the United States. He emphasized the importance of continuing discussions and debates, stating, "We’re going to pick up that blood-stained microphone where Charlie left it."

Shapiro's decision reflects heightened security concerns for public figures following Kirk's death. He compared the situation to post-9/11 security changes, noting that extremists are targeting political figures. Shapiro assured his followers that he remains committed to speaking out, saying, "We will not stop telling the truth."

The tragic event has sparked discussions about safety at public events, with Kirk's wife, Erika, vowing to continue his legacy. Authorities have indicated that Tyler Robinson, the suspect accused of killing Kirk, could face the death penalty if convicted.
