Scary Poppins and the Disinformation Dance

In late April, The Department of Homeland Security announced the Disinformation Governance Board to keep a keen eye on what gets said, and champion the truth. Three weeks later, DHS has shelved the project. When asked, Alejandro Mayorkis cited lack of specifics and a poor roll out.

The person tabbed to run the department, Nina Jankowitz, resigned recently. Rumors say that she was target of "quite a few viscous attacks", according to ABC.
