The attack on a conservative journalist in Portland over the weekend by ANTfA is generating a lot of debate about the political values of the elected officials in that community--and the role that law enforcement should take to protect the citizens of the community
During several demonstrations taking place in Portland, members of antifa attacked those opposed to their point of view, most notably journalist Andy Ngo.
Meanwhile, the President of the Portland Police Association, Daryl Turner, says that Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler is too lenient on antifa.
During an appearance on Armstrong & Getty, Turner stated that antifa violence has become worse during Wheeler's tenure in office. Turner and the PPA are demanding that mayor and city council change course immediately in order to protect those "who can't protect themselves".
